1. Accounts and workspaces
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and use only accounts and workspaces you are authorised to access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the permissions you give other workspace members. Tell your Acquired support contact if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Research and AI-generated content
Acquired helps you discover businesses, organise research, assess acquisition criteria and prepare outreach. Public-source information, third-party data and AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Review supporting evidence and verify material information before relying on it or contacting anyone.
The service does not provide legal, tax, financial or investment advice, certify a company’s suitability for acquisition, or guarantee a transaction, response or commercial outcome. You remain responsible for due diligence and your business decisions.
3. Connected accounts and outreach
Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to operate. By granting an integration access and using its features, you authorise Acquired to carry out the relevant actions, such as saving or updating drafts, sending enabled campaigns and checking for replies.
Review recipients, content, schedules and channel settings before authorising outreach. Saving a Gmail draft does not itself send it; activating a campaign may authorise scheduled sending without approving each message individually. You are responsible for monitoring and stopping campaigns when appropriate. Reply detection depends on provider availability and configuration and cannot guarantee that every reply is detected.
You must comply with applicable privacy, spam, marketing and communications laws, respect opt-outs and follow the rules of Google and any other connected provider. Revoking access does not recall messages already sent or delete drafts and records already created.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not send unlawful, deceptive, abusive or unsolicited messages in breach of applicable law or provider rules.
- Do not impersonate another person or business, misrepresent your acquisition intentions or use contact information without an appropriate basis.
- Do not bypass access controls, access another organisation’s information without permission, introduce malicious code or disrupt the service.
- Do not use Acquired to infringe privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.
5. Your information and content
You retain your rights in content you provide. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it as needed to provide the features you use, including sharing relevant information with configured service providers. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content.
Our handling of personal information and Google data is described in the privacy policy. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies.
6. Availability, changes and fees
Features may change, and integrations may be interrupted by maintenance, errors, provider restrictions or outages. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security, abuse or a breach of these terms. Any paid subscription or separately agreed commercial arrangement is governed by the pricing and payment terms provided when you agree to it; these terms do not create a new payment obligation.
7. Ending use
You may stop using Acquired and revoke connected-account permissions at any time. Contact us to request account closure or data deletion. Ending access does not automatically remove messages from external providers or information retained by your organisation. Retention and deletion are described in the privacy policy.
8. Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of research or generated content. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and the communications you authorise. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide notice of material changes through the service or another appropriate channel. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service.
For questions about Acquired, privacy requests, account closure or complaints, contact the Acquired support contact who provided your account or the user support email shown on the Google consent screen. Identify your account and organisation and describe your request. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
